My name is Aidan Meyers, and I am a rising sophomore. I took AP Biology in the 2019-2020 school year and received an A every quarter. I have experience teaching biology from working for a local tutoring company the last two years. Additionally, I have an extensive background in Biological research; I won first place and best of show in my region and second place in state competing in biomedical and health sciences. I have done research ranging from the use of synthetic melanin to protect against harmful cancer-causing mutations, known as cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers, to investigating ways to prevent primary resistance of immune checkpoint inhibitors to enhance treatment for non-small cell lung cancer. I have also taken part in HOSA― a program for students wishing to enter the medical field and received 1st place at the regional level for two years in a row. I have a great passion for biology and cannot wait to teach you all!
