Speech and Debate covers a variety of public speaking styles and formal discussion. Students will become familiar with these styles through research and practice through instruction, research, and practice. Each unit will culminate in performance assignments requiring students in the classroom setting to demonstrate their abilities. Typically, opportunities can be made available to students through extracurricular programs to take their knowledge to competition at local and state level.
